Residents of Lambeth had their snoozing disrupted this weekend by the antics of Britain’s most iconic spy since Dagmar Lahlum, as Daniel Craig took to the river to film scenes for the latest chapter in the James Bond canon, SPECTRE.

Bond fans and rubberneckers alike lined the Thames to catch a glimpse of Craig and co-star Léa Seydoux filming a high octane chase between a speedboat and a helicopter down the river.

Bridges were closed and spectators were asked to keep a wide berth as the duo filmed scenes, and despite his well known dedication to workouts it appears that Craig, 47, still needed a stunt double to pull off the trickier moves.
